A few new shots

Here's a slideshow of some fairly "new" shots. Recently, I had taken a trip up to San Francisco over by Fisherman's Wharf. As we were driving through the city, I figured I'd have my camera handy in case some photo "opportunities" came up. Nothing really amazing happened, but I did get a chance to take a photo of some graffiti on a billboard which I thought looked kind of cool. I didn't plan on processing it into an HDR, but when I checked the shot, I realized I had overexposed it by +1.7. Luckily shooting raw, I was able to bring back the detail lost in the sky, but I thought I'd make an HDR out of it, and I liked the end result.

Pictures From My Backyard

I was doing my CSU applications, and then decided it would be nice to go outside and take some pictures. Then when I got back to my computer to finish off the SJSU application, I noticed that there hasn't been a post on the blog for a week or two. So, here are some pictures from my backyard.

Video shot with 5D MKII

Just thought I would point out a video shot with a 5D MKii Ashcon found today. There was a video put up on youtube a week or two back, but that one was obviously done with a boatload of money. This video is supposedly shot by a guy (albeit with awesome gear) wandering around Tokyo for three days, then edited by someone else in two days.

A high-budget video (also shot with a 5D MKII) can be seen here.

Macros

I like a lot of the pictures I took this morning, so I thought I would make a post on here since there hasn't been one in a while. I'm thinking about renting a 100mm f/2.8 macro for a day and taking some even more epic macros...

Lots of these photos have some vignetting because the lens I was shooting through was a Nikon 50mm stuck on the end of my 18-55 backwards.
